How do I pose for a Plus-size Boudoir Photoshoot?

Posing will be taken care of for you - that’s our job and we are very good at it! Part of our skill lies in how to make small changes - an arching of the back, adjustment of the light, a slight parting of the lips - to showcase the beauty and sensuality that’s been dying to come out. All you have to do is show up and give yourself permission to enjoy the experience.

Ready to book - What should you wear?

Our studio provides expert styling and wardrobe guidance throughout your experience. We'll give you tips on the most flattering lingerie for your body shape and help you choose your favourite pieces based on your style. Some of our top recommendations include high-waisted undies, bodysuits, corsets, and even going nude. Try the "white sheet" look for something sexy and yet covered.  We have men's white business shirts which look awesome over lingerie or with nothing underneath. Based on our consultation I’ll help you select outfits that are sexy and meet your comfort level.

What is a Curvy Boudoir Session like?

During the complimentary phone call we’ll go over your ideas for the session and any concerns you may have.

We’ll discuss:

-Ideas or inspirations you have for your session

-Any parts of your body you want to accentuate or shy away from

-Your personal style

-How you’d like to showcase your beautiful images.

On the day of the shoot, our professional hair and makeup artist will give you a makeover as we chat about the poses or images style that you like and speak to you. Then the magic begins! We'll turn on some music, guide you through the first poses, and in no time you’ll be relaxed and having more fun than you imagined!

After the session you will have 10 - 15 minutes to pack up your lingerie. You will enjoy a tea or coffee while you have a look at our wonderful products to showcase your finished images, while they are being prepared for viewing and to choose the ones you love.
